Cayuga Lake Wine Trail

The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, abundant in breathtaking views, is Americas first organized and longest running wine trail - established in 1983. The trail is comprised of 16 dog-friendly member wineries that also include cideries, a meadery, four distilleries and a taproom, offering something for everyone. Step inside the warmth of family owned and operated boutique wineries and explore the tastes, aromas and sights unique to the Finger Lakes. These wineries have won over 6,000 national and international medals over the years. Among these awards are six Governors Cups and Winery of the Year three years in a row. A tasteful reason to visit!

Keuka Wine Trail

The Keuka Lake region is home to the ultimate in wine history. It was here, in 1860, that the first bonded winery was established. It was also here that the first Vinifera vines were planted, sparking a renaissance in wine making. Keuka Lake is the perfect place for your wine holiday, offering the most diverse group of wineries of any destination in the Finger Lakes. Whether your taste is dry or sweet, fruity or austere, our vintages of Vinifera, Hybrid and Native wines are sure to please every palate. Our Trail members are anxious to share their wonderful wines and hospitality. Meet the winemakers and owners and taste their fabulous wines that are winning world-wide acclaim. Each winery has their own unique character; shops, restaurants and lodging; and breathtaking views that you will surely enjoy. Keuka is a total experience. Whether your visit is for a day, a week or longer, we are certain that our blend of history, diversity and hospitality will make your stay a visit to remember.

Seneca Lake Wine Trail

In 1986 the Seneca Lake Wine Trail was formed in the heart of New York States Finger Lakes Wine Country to attract more visitors to experience its rich history, beauty and production of world-class wines. Today, Seneca Lake Wine Trail is the largest and most active wine trail in New York State with a community of 35 wineries, a distillery, two cider producers, two breweries and a meadery

Seneca Lake's natural combination of deep water (at 632 feet it is the deepest of the Finger Lakes) and sloping hillsides provides the ideal micro-climate for grape growing. Its unique geology and topography protect the growth of hardy native grapes and premium hybrids as well as more delicate varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir.

Fingerlakes Wine Country

Finger Lakes Wine Country, New York is home to more than 100 wineries, breweries and distilleries centered around Keuka, Seneca, and Cayuga Lakes. In addition, many of the beverage producers are also members of their respective wine and beers trails which host year-round wine and food weekend events. The Finger Lakes is a world-class wine producing region that specializes in aromatic white varieties like Riesling and Gewurztraminer. The region is also finding exciting success with cool-climate reds like Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. The terroir of the Finger Lakes is special because of the microclimate created by the lakes-extreme cold weather in the winter is avoided and warm, breezy days during the summer help ripen the grapes.
